Botijo
Started off as Luki’s graduation project, the design of this standing Botijo was retaken when the initial object suffered an accident leaving it in hundreds of pieces. It is shaped out of clay that takes on its dark color when baked, during which the material also increases in porosity. When filled with water, the pores make the object ‘sweat’, losing heat from inside out, resulting in naturally chilled water, served directly in the studio!
